Home Defense Training

Our Firearms Training Programs are designed for the maximum amount of learning in a safe and fun environment. World-class instruction from the 37 PSR Gun Club training cadre is guaranteed when you participate in our training courses. Our Instructors come from the US Army Special Forces, The US Special Operations Command, and the NRA. Custom Courses can be scheduled for 3 or more students.

Introduction to Home Defense Course

Overview

The one-day introductory course is a perfect complement to any of the Tactical Firearms Courses.  This course covers the basic fundamentals of Close Quarters Battle in lone-shooter multiple threat scenarios and requires that the student have already attended a weapons course prior to this or be registered in the Friday Night Fights series. Class sizes are small, limited to 8 students so the maximum time is available to each student for hands-on instruction and application drills. This course starts in the classroom and covers basic principles and fundamentals of the gunfight in the home and the application of weapons for the defense of the home and then moves to the shoot house for practical hands-on training.  This course provides the use of airsoft training guns so no need to bring a firearm of your own. this is to ensure safety for all students that are just learning to shoot and move with a firearm. This course is limited to eight students only.

Intermediate Home Defense Course

Overview

The intermediate Home defense Course is designed for the continuation of our introduction course utilizing force on force training. The student will apply realistically the things learned in the previous course and gain a better understanding of the dynamic situation they will be in when someone attacks their home. Specific Scenarios will be played out for the student to have a better plan if something ever happens in their home. This course involves Force on Force training with training UTM pistols provided.

Advanced  Home Defense Course

  • Low light clearing of your home

  • No light clearing of your home

  • Live fire clearing drills/scenarios

FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS TRAINING MATCH

Overview

The Friday Night Fights series is an in-the-shoothouse-only rifle and/ OR pistol match. The shooter is required to clear the structure utilizing one-man clearing techniques. This is the perfect Home Defense scenario training for those that want it. The shooter will use the rifle or pistol in a live-fire movement scenario using the hallways, rooms with open and closed doors against the threat, and non-threat targets. The shooter must discriminate against the threats and non-threats.

THE RULES ARE SIMPLE

1. Be safe

2. Engagement is based on the NC use of force laws

3. Use proper cover and movement
