World-class instruction from the 37 PSR Gun Club training cadre is guaranteed when you participate in our training courses. Our Instructors come from the US Army Special Forces, The US Special Operations Command, and the NRA. Custom Courses can be scheduled for 3 or more students.

Basic Medical Skills Seminnar

Overview

The  Basic Medical Tasks Seminar teaches four easy-to-learn trauma management treatments for a trauma patient. Starting with a short introduction of active shooter facts and injuries encountered over the past decade. This seminar teaches these treatments in a simple hands-on environment. All patient care items are provided for the student.

  • Insert NPA

  • Apply Occlusive Dressing

Intermediate Medical Skills Seminar

Overview

The Intermediate Medical Skills Seminar teaches four easy-to-learn trauma management treatments for a trauma patient. This continues the S.M.A.R.C.H.E.R. treatment sequence for a trauma patient. This seminar teaches these treatments in a simple hands-on environment. You must have completed the Basic Medical Tasks Seminar to attend this seminar. All patient Care items are provided for the student

Introduction to Casualty Care Course

 

$400 Non-Members / Member $275

Overview

The Casualty Care Course is a basic first aid training course that focuses on the art of trauma management in situations where medical help is not readily available. Taught by a Special Operations Combat Medic, you will learn the sequence of expedited trauma treatment for most if not all types of injuries. This is not a combat trauma-only treatment course. You will learn mechanisms of Injuries, treatment techniques, patient immobilization, improvised medical techniques, and more.  This course will include the Basic Medical Skills Seminar as part of the course. All patient care items are provided for the student

  • Casualty Care Treatment Sequence (S.M.A.R.C.H.E.R. Primary Survey)

  • Shock Management/ controlling hemorrhage  

  • Application of Tourniquets review

  • Airway Management review

  • NPA application review

  • Thoracic Trauma review

  • Bandage and Splinting 

  • Intro to Secondary Survey of a trauma patient.

Secondary Casualty Care Course

Overview

This is a continuation of the Intro to Casualty Care training where the student learns to continue the treatment of a multi-system trauma patient. This course reviews the Primary Patient Survey utilizing the S.M.A.R.C.H.E.R. acronym and trains the student to do a comprehensive secondary Survey and treatments for many different types of injuries. You must have completed the Basic Skills Seminars and the Intro to Casualty Care Course before attending this course. All patient care items are provided for the student

Dynamic Casualty Care Course

Overview

This course is the continuation of our Medical skills series of courses. The student will use the previously learned skills in moulage /realistic scenario-based training. Patient scenarios are based on real-world injury patterns for an active shooter, Motor vehicle accidents, and in the home injuries of multi-system trauma patients. All medical treatment items are provided for the student.
