Pistol Training

The NC CCH permit Class is an 8-hour class that covers the subjects mandated by the state of North Carolina for a citizen to carry a HANDGUN in a concealed condition. This class is not for the new shooter that has not attended some type of training in the past.

This course is an all INCLUSIVE introduction to the Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun. It focuses on the fundamentals of shooting safety, firearms handling and marksmanship. If you are thinking about purchasing or just purchased a firearm and need training this is the perfect class for you. This course teaches all firearms TYPES and is in an easy-to-learn format that is the basis for all your shooting needs and safety. This course takes you from the basic steps of cleaning and maintaining your firearm to shooting safely and accurately. You will quickly gain experience, confidence and increase skill level with a firearm. 37 PSR Gun Club provides the Firearms, ammunition and the instruction. Just sit back and learn the fun sport of shooting with us.

This course is a Foundational Level seminar that focuses on the fundamentals of shooting Handguns safely, Handgun handling, and marksmanship. If you are thinking about purchasing or just purchased a handgun and need training this is the perfect class for you. This seminar takes you from the basic steps of cleaning and maintaining your handgun to shooting safely and accurately. You will quickly gain experience, confidence and increase your skill level with a Handgun and this course ends with a final evaluation to let you know what improvement you have made. This course is approximately 3 hours in duration. However there is 9 hours of online knowledge modules for you to learn before getting on the range.

The Advanced Concealed Carry course is for the shooter that wants to learn to fight with a handgun from a concealed position. They do not have to have already attended the legal classes needed for and received the CCH permit.
The course covers basic tactical application shooting topics that most individuals have never had training on. This is a one-day course that builds basic fundamentals of tactical shooting skills that prepare the citizen for an unexpected encounter with an assailant involving the use of his or her concealed handgun. The course starts with our online classroom presentation with an in-depth discussion and starts the day with hands-on practical instruction about the fundamentals of marksmanship and the principles for Tactical application of use in the gunfight.

There is a mid-course shooting test you must pass in order to continue in the training series for Levels II and III.

The Advanced Concealed Carry course 2 is a follow-on course for the student that has completed the ACC 1 and is seeking more in-depth training than the 1 day ACC.

The course starts in the DOJO with an in-depth discussion and hands-on practical instruction about the fundamentals of being attacked and the first tasks that have to be accomplished in order to get to the gun. Then moves to shoot on the move to engage and neutralize threats in the safest manner possible. This portion of the course involves force-on-force physical contact training to cement the training and give a true account of what happens in the initial attack sequence indoors in a realistic scenario.

The Advanced Concealed Carry course 3 is a follow-on course for the student that has completed the ACC 1 and 2  and is seeking more in-depth training 

The course starts on the range with a review of all the previous shooting tasks and goes into the use of cover from different non-standard positions and levels. Using Barricades of different heights and dimensions, shooting from standing to kneeling and prone positions in conjunction with Barricades and caver. From here the course develops the skills needed for using a vehicle as cover and what works and what does not work. the student will engage targets from inside the vehicle, thru the windshields and bailouts from vehicles are also conducted. This is a physically demanding portion of the three-day course. Come prepared to shoot move and communicate like no other course has allowed in the past.   

ACC 4 is a culmination Scenario-Based training course. All past training tasks are tested in a pressure testing methodology in this course utilizing Force on Force. No real weapons are allowed. Each Student is provided UTM and Airsoft Pistols and ammo as part of the course tuition. Safety gear is also provided, but lightweight gloves are recommended. Scenarios are based on each of the ACC courses learned, scenarios include Counter Robbery, Counter Hijacking, Crowded Areas (multiple Threats), Active Shooters, and other types of situations a  person will find themselves in. There will be a learning review and practice for each scenario covered. 

In-car fighting to defeat a kidnapping

Defend against the Knife attack (intimate distance Contact engagement)

Defend against the improvised weapon attack

Defend against attack while inside a Vehicle ( riot attack)

Active Shooter Scenario in a building (room to room manuever)
