Introduction to Firearms and Safety Course

$150 Non-Members / Members $125

Overview

A 6-hour course for shooters that would like an introduction to firearms and how they work. This course is designed for students that have never fired a firearm before. It starts in the virtual classroom with Firearms safety training and teaches the student the different types of firearms, and uses for each. Then into the real classroom and Range for basic level hands-on training. however, this Course starts out with the use of Airsoft pistols and rifles so that the student is not overwhelmed with the concussion and noise of live firearms. then the student will fire small-bore rifles and pistols (.22caliber ) and small-bore shotguns for the introduction to live fire. If you own firearms and want to bring them to use please do so. however, we are not providing ammunition for personal firearms only the ones we provide for the seminar.  FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION FOR THIS SEMINAR ARE PROVIDED AS PART OF THE SEMINAR.

Basic Carbine Seminar

$110 Non-Members / Member $85

Overview

A 3-hour seminar for shooters that would like an introduction to AR rifles and rifle shooting. The topics included in this hybrid online and on the range training seminar include rifle safety, AR15 parts and operation, an introduction to ammunition and the fundamentals of rifle shooting, and
information on the care and cleaning of a rifle. Please be advised that there are approximately 9 hours of online Knowledge module training that must be completed before attending this seminar. You will receive a link to sign up for this training when you enroll. Students are encouraged to bring their own rifles; however, loaners are available. Some of this training will also be conducted using Professional Training System Airsoft rifles so that you are not using as much ammunition for the basic skills. All skills will be validated however using live ammunition.

Tactical Applications of the Carbine 1 Course

$400 Non-Members / Member $275

Overview

This course is a tactical skills applications course for the tactical shooter that focuses on the fundamentals of shooting safety, weapons handling, and combat marksmanship and builds speed and accuracy for the tactical environment. This course begins with an initial skills evaluation. This is not designed as a basic carbine course. All attendees must complete the basic Carbine Seminar or test out following the Basic Carbine Seminar standards* (see below). The student will quickly gain experience, confidence and increase their tactical skill level with a carbine and ends with a final evaluation to let you know what improvement you have made. Be prepared to train for many hours. This course concentrates on the AR 15 Style Rifle for use. For the reduction and use of live ammo we will be conducting drills with Professional Training Simulators (PTS) airsoft AR15 rifles. All drills will be validated with Live fire ammo but practice and learning drills are conducted with the PTS rifles
THIS IS NOT A BASIC CARBINE COURSE ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE COMPLETED THE BASIC RIFLE SEMINAR BEFORE ATTENDING THIS COURSE.
If you need to zero your AR15 Rifle, please do so before the course starts.

Overview

The student will quickly gain experience, confidence and increase his skill level with a carbine and ends with a final evaluation to let you know what improvement you have made.  You must have a certificate of Completion from Tactical Carbine 1 to attend this course.  This course will quickly review fundamentals from the Tactical Carbine 1 Course and go immediately into advanced fighting techniques with the carbine in Close Quarters fighting with the weapon itself being used at intimate distances and then into Barricade shooting, and other items as cover.

Tactical Applications of the Carbine 4 Course

Overview

This is a continuation of the Tactical Applications of the Carbine Series of Courses. In this course, the student will use cover and vehicles as cover as part of an individual and team bailout situation. All students must have completed the first three in the series to attend this course. Becasue this is a high risk manuever course the students will be using either UTM( man marker rounds or Airsoft ) for the manuever portion

Tactical Applications of the Carbine 5 Course

Overview

This is a continuation of the Tactical Applications of the Carbine Series of Courses. In this course, the student will be introduced to the use of the carbine rifle out to distances of 400 meters. All students must have completed the first two in the series to attend this course.  This course will focus on the use of the Low Power Variable Optics (LPVO) scope and how to use the BC and determine range and engage targets with multiple shots. This course will also focus on the alternate positions for engagements at these extended distances

Introduction to Long Range Presicion Shooting Course

Overview

The Intro course is for students that want to get the most out of their long-range rifle training. This course is required for any of our follow on Long Range Shooting courses. This course was developed to get students ready for the training and have the right set up on their rifle with regards to scope mounting, body position, and zero. With other classes, we have found that the student is not prepared properly for the series of training courses. Therefore, we have decided to conduct a course that prepares the rifle for the training. The guns used are small-bore rifles that allow the student to apply correct shooting techniques in a way that they can receive feedback from their shot without the distraction of the loud noise or the impulse from the larger rifles. All rifles and ammunition are provided as part of this course. PLEASE DO NOT GO OUT AND BUY GEAR FOR THIS COURSE. YOU WILL RECEIVE TRAINING ON WHAT IS NEEDED AND WHAT IS "GOOD" FOR WHAT YOU NEED TO GET STARTED.

Long Range Presicion Shooting Course 1-2-3-4

Overview

These courses of instruction teach long-range marksmanship fundamentals, using telescopic sights for Long Range Shooting, unknown distance shooting, ballistics, and practical target engagement.

These courses will teach the use of gear for the Long Range shooter to maximize their accuracy and precision in the least amount of time. You must have completed and passed the Introduction course in order to take these courses.  You will learn your D.O.P.E. for your rifle at distances out to 650 yards. These Shooting courses are started each quarter over a three-month period of time. 

LR-1 Course- Accuracy and ballistics calculations, Range estimation, Environmental Factors, and the decision matrix

LR-2 Course- Continue Ballistics Calculations and data, Range estimation exercises, Environmental Factors, Moving from accuracy to precision in engagements, continued fundamentals skills development. Working your scope and Introduction to winds.

LR-3 Course- Continued Fundamentals skills development, Learning your spotting scope, the introduction of supporting gear, Continuation of Data gathering. Alternate Shooting Positions. 

HIGH ANGLE SHOOTING Course- 

Using long-range techniques in high angle situations, understanding fundamentals of range estimation in high angle shooting, compensation factors,understanding slope range,
